Yoli - Taking the Green Initiative

Yoli Leads the Charge for a Cleaner More Sustainable Future
No matter what side of the Climate Change debate you sit on, there's no denying that conservation and sustainability are critical to the longevity and well being of our planet.  The Earth is a finite resource and to deny this would be catastrophically irresponsible.  So the Yoli founders have taken it upon themselves to lead the way in this global Green Movement.

Plastic Bottles - Despite the fact that more than 80 percent of U.S. households have access to a plastics recycling program, nearly 8 out of every 10 plastic bottles end up in a landfill.  Quite staggering, considering that back in 2005 American consumption of plastic bottles was at 29.8 BILLION .

In response to this, Yoli is not just encouraging their distributors but are instructing them to re-use their Yoli bottles.  The Yoli bottles are made of a P-1 plastic and are dishwasher safe so in fact they're designed to be re-used.  Once a distributor or customer has the number of bottles they need they simply have to purchase the blast caps as re-fills.  Yoli has also partnered with a company that's on the forefront of sustainable hydration solutions to make available a BPA free, branded bottle that they will be announcing in the coming weeks.  You'll flip your lid when you get a glimpse of what's coming.

Paper Waste - All businesses by necessity consume tremendous amounts of paper.  Hard copies of records, applications, reports, and letters are necessary components of running a successful business.  In Network Marketing, there is the added dimension of having to print out commission checks for thousands, possibly millions of distributors.

Yoli's solution is to offer only direct deposit to a distributors' bank accounts or to the soon available Yoli Debit account.  This alleviates the use of paper checks and their attached stubs which rarely if ever get recycled.

Carbon Footprint - The Network Marketing distribution model dictates that product be shipped directly to the customers and distributors.  So, as a company's distributor force grows so does it's Carbon Footprint.

To offset their carbon footprint Yoli has partnered up with Trees for the Future, an organization devoted to helping restore degraded lands to sustainable productivity through planting beneficial trees.  With Trees for the Future, Yoli pledges to plant 10 trees for every new sign-up.  Yoli's intention is to be the largest contributor to this program setting a goal of planting no less than 1 MILLION tress.  To learn more about Trees for the Future, watch the video on the right.
